Responsibilities for Finance Head:
- Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff, recommending further courses of action.
- Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
- Manage the preparation of the company’s budget.
- Liaise with auditors to ensure the appropriate monitoring of company finances.
Qualifications for Finance Head:
- Proven experience as a Financial Head, proficiency in finance software, and strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills are essential.
- The ability to manage, guide, and lead employees to ensure the use of appropriate financial processes is also required, as is a working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities are a must.
- An M.Com, MBA, or other relevant qualification is preferred.
